What Fun!!!!

So i have fullen back to my bad ways of not updating my blog on a regular basis but i do have a valled reason i have been working really hard!!! first i had to have a week off work to look after the kids on school holidays and then was prepairing for Ally Pally "The Big Stamp and Scrapbook Show" Maria, Michelle Lynne and myself (dad inclueded) had great fun setting up on friday night ready for the doors to open bright and early on Satuday the Four muskeeters (and Dad) was then joined by Becki and Alan on Saturday and John Victoria, Jo & Tracey on Sunday and great fun was had by all and that was just the Parti Craft Demonstrators!!! we meet some great people who are instreated in our knowlage and ideas so here's hoping a few partys are heading our way.


so after all the preperation for Ally Pally i thought i would share my Mini Scrapbook with you Step by step as requested by Maria!!!!

Mini Scrapbook


What you Need:
12 x 12 Double sided Scrapbook paper, Ribbons, Brads, Flowers, Photo’s , Distress inks & cut and dry foam, Black Archival Ink ( if stamping) Glue or double sided tape

Instructions

Step 1) Trim your 12 x 12 paper to 30cm x 30cm Square.

Measure across 10 cm score a line from the top to the bottom of the page, Repeat twice dividing the page into 3 equal columns.Turn the page so the scored line run across and repeat, creating 9 equal squares of 10cm x 10cm.

Step 2) Then cut up on the first score line 2 squares (20cm),

Then cut down the second score line 2 squares (20cm)

Step 3) Turn the paper so patterned side down then fold 1st square down towards you then fold the 2nd square down away from you then fold the 3rd square across to the right then continue following the score lines till you have a concertina booklet of 10cm squares.

Step 4) On the 3rd and 4th squares glue the right hand edge and bottom edge sticking them together creating a pocket. Then repeat on the 6th and 7th squares glueing the left hand edge and top edge together creating another pocket.

Step 5) On the back page of the book make a cut at 4cm and 6cm cut down the page to insert ribbon (size of cut is your choice depending on ribbon width) to creat a fastening to keep the scrapbook sealed ,Basis of the book is now complete embellish to your choice.

Fab - thanks for posting this, Lynsay! There were a lot of people at Ally Pally who asked how to do this and I must say that I want to have a go at making some too..

FANTASTIC step by step instructions Lynsay....its a fab mini-scrapbook, I know that everyone who did it at the make and take really enjoyed it and now with your instructions we can all have a go......its great!!!!!
